I'd say I don't care. I've lived with several women im not in 3rd grade. But I wouldn't push it past that to be honest.

Logistics of Menstrual Sex
Menstrual blood only really smells when the period is at it's heaviest, or when the blood has dried. The majority of the time, condoms and and the usual vaginal fluid overpower the smell of the blood.
It does feel different, but not much. You'll find after a little bit your crotches start to stick together like when you have paint on both hands and you push them together as the paint dries. This same thing happens inside the vagina, regular re-application of more spit/lube will alleviate any issues quickly.
Blood stains, so use dark towels and don't leave any clothing on. I am good at getting stains out (I'm a grown-ass man who lives on his own and enjoys the company of women!) so I don't bother with towels, shrugging off their concerns and swiftly getting some stain remover onto the sheets and the sheets into the wash once we've had what appears to be our last session of the day.
Side Note: Sheilas seem to find something oddly attractive that I'm not phased at removing blood stains from my sheets and this usually leads to awkward shower sex (Fucking bath/showers!).

Honestly, I guess you're getting LMR, they're giving you an unsolvable excuse. You solve it with push pull. Always push pull.
Stop escalating for a bit, go back one level, say "Ok, we'll just rehearse it." with a humorous tune, start escalating again.
