I agree that there could be some positive qualities for being inherently sensitive, but I disagree with the notion to "train" future generations of men to become sensitive.

Also, in the page you provided being emotionally reactive is one of the characteristics of a highly sensitive person, as well as greater sensitivity to stimuli (large crowds scare me!), or over aroused easily. Sounds like a man-child to me. Sure, those people should work hard to compensate for those negative aspects, but again we shouldn't train men to be like that in the first place. I don't think you have to train men to be anything, just let boys be boys and let them adopt their own social preferences without forcing an ideology on them. Part of your job as a parent is to guide your child through the pitfalls of life.
