I love and care about my SO dearly but at times she has these incredible mood swings that just baffles me and leaves me so confused me.

It's something I noticed very early in our relationship and when I'd confront her she would always say she is just cranky, she didn't sleep well, trouble at home etc. One time she broke down crying going on about how she knows if she doesn't sort her head out I'm gonna leave her for someone better. She suffers from depression and anxiety.

I have spoken to her many times about it and at it times it gets a bit better but it always comes back.

She has thrown major tantrums at a bar, shopping centres and at a bus stops. Like screaming at me like I'm a child, afterwards she will get upset at me, wearing a very angry look to the point whereby people will ask what is wrong or later on friends will ask what was that about. And I feel like once she has finally calmed down, she will start sobbing, crying and going on about how come I'm not holding or hugging her because she is upset, and I sit there confused because I'm thinking but 10 minutes ago you were trying to bite my head off.

She can be a very logical, incredibly smart and caring person but once she gets mad or angry she becomes something else. She is the type of person if she is sad or angry, nothing else makes sense until those emotions are sorted out. At first I thought it was just me but I once told her sister about all this and she said "Yep that's my sister", she also added how she knows it's not easy dealing with her sister emotionally.

One day, I had been working my ass off at a job to gain some experience, hopefully make money and help her out. I had been doing this four about two weeks, going to work at 6am and coming back around 7pm, sometimes I would stop by her place just to say Hi since I wouldn't see her much during the day. A week later I started a short course at college and it would take the whole day of classes to just get through it, I'd go to classes the whole day and then study through the night. We didn't get to spend a lot of time together during that time. So the weekend before my exams for the short course I asked her to come over to hang, it was a Friday so I thought I would spend some time with her before studying. We were in bed and since I was so tired, I passed out and slept. I woke up after like 20 minutes and I woke up to her sitting up so pissed off. She started going on about how I don't spend time with her and she is wasting her time coming her. She really went on and on. I was so lost and confused, in that moment it felt like she didn't care so I told her I can't do this anymore, this is tiring. She started screaming and went on about how I have done nothing but waste her time, I'm nothing but a coward, I've wasted her time and I should get the fuck out of her life.

I was so stunned because I've done a lot for this girl. I cleared my mind, studied and got my exams over and done with.

A week later I was feeling guilty, I went over to apologized and we got back together. She cried and apologised for acting like that. Later on she acted like nothing happened.

One time we bumped into this girl at a mall, I'd forgot the girls name so I didn't introduce her. My SO just walked away, later I asked what was that about, she got moody, about 10 minutes later she wants to get all lovey dovey, asking me to kiss her, hold her hand. I wasn't in the mood but she persisted and I gave in.

It's tiring dealing with this. It's like you never know what to expect with her. One day she is happy, she is moody, the smallest things will tick her off and she will be mad at you for hours until she cools off and then she comes back and says sorry.
