Intro

What's good, hermanos. It's your boy, Mr. Basic, back with more questions. I had a weird, new experience last night and I'm not exactly sure how I could have handled it.

Body

With the weather getting warmer, I decided to throw a pool party at my apartment complex. It was a good time! Drinks flowing, games going, music blasting, etc etc. Some time during the night, my group was chilling in the hot tub when a group of girls decided to join. My friends froze up and it was low-key awkward so I smiled and introduced myself to all of them to alleviate the awkwardness. I'm not gonna flex, these girls were 5-6's, but the alcohol lenses gave them an extra point or two🤷🏾‍♂️

Anyways, after getting their names, I asked about their majors. One girl in particular, let's say J, was going for a computer science degree, which is similar to my degree. To keep it short, we hit it off and I find out she's hella smart. I am very attracted to intelligence and with the alcohol in my system, I was bold enough to say "I'm not gonna lie, I'm extremely attracted to intelligence; that shit will get you a trip back to my place."

After saying that, the entire hot tub went silent. J turned red and looked at the most attractive one in the group, a few girls rolled their eyes, and another girl was like "well she isn't the only smart one here." I would love to say that I handled it like a pro, but seeing the awkward mess I made, I froze. I ended up leaving the hot tub to "go check on my dog." When I came back, they were gone.

Conclusion

So like..what the hell was that? I've never seen chicks do something like that. Also, how could I have handled that situation better instead of freezing up? (I'm really bad at that)
