Cartel driven. Females are getting preferential treatment through hiring quotas, funding, scholarships, etc. anywhere a cartel exists. So the costs are shared across the particular segment of the economy. In the US, the feminist cartels include universities, banks, Fortune 500, healthcare, and public sector.

Small, nimble, highly competitive and creative industries where cartels can not be built easily do not fall for feminism. These include hi-tech start-ups (not old tech), mortgage brokers, house flipping, oil exploration, farming (including high-end vineyards), and high-end restaurants.

Women mathematicians? That's a way to guarantee mediocrity. Not total incompetence that you can fire, but mediocrity that will clog your organization and limit your potential.

“The NSF awards more than half a billion dollars a year in engineering grants to engineers seeking to further their education in the field,” I reported in June 2005. “About 80 percent of engineers are men.”

“Yet fully half of the recipients of the NSF engineering grants in 2004—when $541,700,000 was handed out—were women.” Conversely, the ratio of women to men matched up in the balance of the profession matched up among the NSF rejects but not in the way you might have expected it to.

“Among the honorable mentions of students who were not awarded NSF engineering grants, but were exceptional enough to be acknowledged, fully 80 percent were men in the last contest,” I wrote. “Thus, the agency’s rejections are a mirror image of the profession, even if its awards are highly unbalanced.”

“In specific sub-fields the proportions are even more skewed,” I pointed out. “Among environmental engineers, for instance, the proportion of awards to women was nearly the reverse of trends in the profession as a whole.”

“Women made up nearly nine out of ten NSF grant recipients.”

The benefit of this blatant sexism is that male researchers will be cheaper to hire, and will most likely have better discoveries. Let the government waste their stolen money, because the private sector doesn't give a damn about race/sex - they only care about results.

That is, unless you get infected by feminist HR - but that's a separate problem entirely.
