"When I hear people from the projects, or anywhere else, blame their actions on the way they grew up, I think it's a crock of ****,"

  • A guy who got handed his fathers business on a silver platter

Fair point. That said, is hard to argue that he was unsuccessful. A small regional promotion didn't become the undisputed king of its domain through luck and nepotism.

He was raised in that particular industry and had been very successful expanding it. He has been a complete failure in every other field he's tried...anyone remember the XFL? Me neither.

XFL gave football the overhead camera on the cable. So while it didn't last it was impact full.

However it's impact on McMahon was a massive financial loss. Not trying to dump on the guy too much, being a master of one type of business is one more than 99.99% of people ever achieve. It makes you appreciate the Elon Musk's more.

The guy lives eats and breathes wrestling. With that kind of attitude and work ethic you simply cannot lose.

A guy who worked for a shot to earn his father's business and turned it into a huge media enterprise known throughout the world.

Let's fix that up a little bit.

In a 2012 interview, McMahon tells Bloomberg Businessweek that he sleeps just four hours a night.

If Russo got in at 7 a.m., McMahon's car would already be there, and if he stayed until 10 p.m., McMahon's car would still be there.

One ex-writer tells me that employees are not allowed to sneeze when they're in a meeting with McMahon because he sees it as a lack of self-control.
And in an April interview on Stone Cold Steve Austin's podcast, former WWE creative team member Paul Heyman says that McMahon actually gets furious with himself when he is the one sneezing.

Sounds like he's one of these guys who's just desperate to be seen to be working incredibly hard and in control, making up for their shortcomings with neurotic principles they think equate to being a productive worker.
How good are your decisions if you get 4 hours sleep a night and have food poisoning (but then, you aren't really sick)?

How good are your decisions if you get 4 hours sleep a night and have food poisoning (but then, you aren't really sick)?

Dana White of the UFC said he sleeps around 5 hours a night. I know a couple guys who only get 4-6 hours of sleep a night. Hell even I can pull it off a couple times a week and be fine. But once thurs and fri roll around I feel like death.

While some people are fine with that amount of sleep, it makes you wonder what pills or items he is taking to keep himself up. Even on pure motivation, it would be severely affecting his long-term health.

I thought he was just an actor

I have always seen Vince as the modern day PT Barnum. He is a showman to his core and wrestling is one of the few strongholds of men we have left.
