Thanks for this link. As I discussed in another thread here (bot won't let me link), this is also why you shouldn't debate women/feminists using elaborate logic. You may be right, but you're throwing pearls in front of the swines. They are emotionally invested in their worldview and for every rationalization you spend 10 minutes disproving, they will make up another one in 10 seconds.

Basically they can spew a fresh load of new bullshit for free anytime. You'll never win if you stay on the defensive like that, you'll just spend the rest of your life meticulously mopping up other people's shit - and they have no reason to stop shitting.

So if you really can't resist the urge to debate a hamster, you will need to do it savvily. Agree and amplify. Make it choke on its own bullshit.

This depends on the outcome you want. If you want them to admit they're wrong, you won't get anywhere, but if you want them to stop using certain arguments it works. I've noticed a change in the arguments my feminist friends make in general after I've challenged them on a number of them.

I learned about agree & amplify in completely desexualized context and until RP I didn't realize it was totally a thing, it was at my previous job during the training there was this guy who wasn't very good at it, not sure what he was doing over there as it was clear it wasn't his area and was, uh 'encouraged' to resign 6 months later but I digress. Being a group of guys we'd bully eachother on our shortcomings and get a laugh out of it, he also got himself in an awkward situation living at the house of an employee until he got his own place, so often he'd get fun poked at and the guy handled it flawlessly always, he'd agree and amplify to everything and everything just slid past through him. I would think hey it's cool that this guy has that quality, without ever even considering applying that to myself.

Just what I was thinking. I've seen "agree and amplify" on here a few times but I don't know the context of the strategy. Admittedly I havnt read every single side bar topic so I havnt come across it though I'm guessing it would be like a woman saying "a woman can do anything a man can do, just as efficiently as a man would do it." And then I would follow up by saying " you are absolutely right, actually you look quite strong, I just got a new couch, help me carry it upstairs". If I'm wrong please educate me.

Agree and amplify in the context of game and relationships is simply not backing down like a BP/beta mangina when a woman accuses you of something as if it's a bad thing.

In pick-up, it would be if a woman you were trying to seduce said to you, "I bet you say that to all the girls," after you drop a line on her. Instead of going, "No, of course not! You're the only one for me." you would say, "Yes I do say it to all the girls, and I know they love it, that's why I'm saying it to you."

Bonus:

Q: I think you're a player. How many girls have you slept with?

A: You mean, today?

Agree and amplify.

Also, I've used this one before and it seems to work, I think it fits agree and amplify. If they say " I bet you say that to all the girls" I've used the line "only the hot ones". It seems to work well lol

Shit Test Example: "I bet you use that line on all the girls."

Shit test trumping mechanisms:

  • Agree + Amplify: Yeah I literally wake up in the morning covered in bitches it's that effective.
  • Disagree + Amplify: No you're the first girl I've ever spoken to I used to be a mute.
  • Pressure Flip: I bet you think everything's a line because you've got trust issues.
  • Agree + Pressure Flip: Yeah, I'm sorry, did you think you were a special snowflake?
  • Disagree + Pressure Flip: Nah you're too ugly for me to be dropping lines on (carries a double meaning if she sniffs any crushed up substances - strippers, hookers, dancers, those kind of chicks)
  • Ignore: Either silence or you change the topic entirely providing no acknowledgement of the shit test.
  • Ridicule: Your face looks like a 9/11 crash site when was the last time you had a boyfriend? (major asshole game aka Patrice O'Neal Game - use it to bring narcissistic/angry women off the ego pedestal, don't use it on timid chicks)
  • Pseudo-Gaslight: What line? Are you imagining things?

Pressure flips are what you use to deflect/reframe scrutiny/social pressure in an interaction. All pressure flips are reframes. In fact everything here is a reframe.

Generally, timid girls throw less shit tests at you unless you are way above her in smv. More reframe, less pressure flip is the way to go. A&A is awesome.

It primarily works when women try to call you out on something and ideally, if you're secure enough you will not be bothered, agree and even amplify her accusation to make her feel ridiculous and show you DONT CARE AT ALL about what she just accused you of.
