It's like they want people to flat out ignore everyone on the street.

Some people don't have the knowledge about approaching other to start a conversation with someone they want to talk to, so they open with a compliment sometimes with the hope of continuing into a conversation.

But no, the people who make those cards want you to stare down at the ground wherever you walk and don't you dare pay a compliment to anyone.

This card campaign is very feeble and has a juvenile feel to it. One thing I notice is that they casually blur the lines between cat calling and minor compliments. At worst someone might now get offended at a casual compliment, but be reassured that the pamphlet/leaflet is the least effective method of communicating an idea.

While having the opinion that the real harassement is to insult my eyes and taste by wearing undersized yoga pants, when you should actually wear customized tents, I have to chuckle when thinking of all the landwhales getting loaded with a pile of these cards that they are - contrary to their believe - never ever going to need.

No, it's called you being an ungrateful bitch. When someone gives you a compliment about your appearance(As long as it's not to sexual). Be happy. Most people would love to have someone tell them they have nice hair or pretty eyes. not to mention that some people just like being nice, and complimenting others on their appearance to make them feel good.

Considering that I'm gay. my mom would actually be very proud if I was giving random women compliments about their appearance. Also, the fact that this person writes "man". Clearly says that they believe men can only be harassers. And that everything a man says about a women's physical features is harassment.

This person is clearly a women. Cause I grantee you if women were complimenting men, and telling them how attractive they are. Then a majority of guys wouldn't care, and would feel proud of it. And, to answer the question. Yes, I've had women tell me I'm attractive. I just told them thank you, and didn't cry about it.

Shit, you'd think that a person would want someone to comment on their appearance. If they're working so hard to stay in shape and look good.
