I realise I'm in a different headspace to a lot of guys here but this article actually sounds good to me. Fuck ambiguity.

When I try to put this article into RP terms, I would summarize it (in part) as "Don't spin plates". The fact that Matt Walsh is also a good, God-fearing Christian would seem to lend credibility to this interpretation. I agree with his notion of being decisive, but the way he romanticizes courtship seems like he's also discouraging premarital sex and engaging romantically with multiple women.
That's my take on it, anyway.

Dear single women,
Start sleeping with us more frequently when we take you out on 'dates' than when we just 'hang out'.

Note: if your response to this is that "those red pill guys are part of the problem, corrupting all our young women," then you are a)correct and b) completely missing the point.

I see Matt Walsh is thoroughly pussywhipped and/or in search of some female advertisement bux.

Yes, I feel sorry for him with all his terrible happiness and contentment.

Bless his heart, he found his unicorn.
He can keep his judgey shametalk to himself.

People that are truly happy don't have to write text-walls to assure themselves and the world that they are truly happy.

Ah yes, the constant feminist struggle.
Fight with all of your might to destroy gender roles.
Then mourn when the benefits of gender roles (like courtship/dating) disappear with them.
We defined our terms.
We made our goals clear.
We were open with each other.
We spoke about the future.
We used words like ‘marriage.’
Yes, and men were masculine. And women were feminine. And you fought to end this.
You killed courtship

When did men become so afraid to make a commitment, to take the lead, to say what they want, to make long term plans, to set goals, to pursue, to talk about the future?
About the same time that commitment became a lifetime-long shit sandwich.

Was it ever not?

In certain cultures and at certain times, I'd give a qualified yes.

What's so good about working your ass off to support a woman for the rest of your life? For light housework and repetitive boring sex? Hardly sounds like a good deal.

"When did men become so afraid to make a commitment, to take the lead, to say what they want, to make long term plans, to set goals, to pursue, to talk about the future?"
about the same time that women claimed men who do this are privileged

This showed up on the Facebook walls of two different girls who rejected me in my BP days when we were all in our early 20s...it was absolutely cathartic
He looks like a wimp. Seems appropriate.
