(white) Birth rates plummet

Women compete for a smaller pool of men i.e. 90% of the women pursuing 10% of the men

Women end up recruiting dogs and cats to be their surrogate children

We traded family life and children for being miserable coworkers in a cubicle farm

[–]2popthatpill 12 points13 points14 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

By "we", I suppose you mean "women". Men didn't choose this in any great numbers.

[–]Blood_Vaults 21 points22 points23 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Perhaps so, but a good portion of 'men' nowadays espouse dangerously sentimental liberal affections and subdue their masculine virtue in favor of transforming themselves into beta bucks cubicle cattle for post wall cat ladies. The existence of this subreddit and the entire manosphere dedicated to enlightening men of their true birth rights is a testament to this

Manginas are negative externalities.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points10 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

See, as a reformed mangina, I kind of take issue with this. We have a place in this world too, our forebears fucked women and led to us. The problem in my mind is: take a feminine man with skills in conversation, art, manipulation, writing, etc. and immerse him in a feminine culture that encourages him in all his worst aspects and he becomes a completely pathetic loser. However, raise him in a masculine culture, teach him traditional masculine virtues like: take care of yourself, work hard, don't complain, don't shy away from competition and he can become his best self, a man. There are all kinds of men. Not everyone is cut out to be an athlete or a business tycoon, but we can all benefit from masculinity.

The more boys who wake up to become men, the better. A lot of TRPers like to pretend they're badass lone wolf machiavellian masterminds waging a one man war against the blue pill but productive societies need men and lone wolves aren't very useful in that regard. I'm all about helping men realize what they're capable of and seeing through all the brainwash and conditioning horse shit the progressives try to convince us of.

From what I've seen, it's typically when a guy makes it an issue that it becomes one.

I've dated women who make more than me. It's never been an issue, because it never made me insecure.

[+]the99percent1 -13 points-12 points-11 points 12 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link

Dating is completely different from bring in a long term relationship with your partner, who earns more than you so much so, she may as well become the breadwinner of the fam.

How's that sound? Would you still enjoy dating women who earn more than you?

He who controls the money, controls the power.

[–]JDoorjam 42 points43 points44 points 12 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

:: shrug :: Again, not a problem, though if either one of us was making enough money that they could be the sole breadwinner, that would be awesome. I wouldn't want to stop working, but it'd be great to have that much income coming in.

My ego's just not all that tied up in outperforming my SO at anything. It's a partnership, not a competition, and I'm confident enough in what I bring to my relationships that I don't lose sleep over who's bringing home more dough. A relationship built on who "controls the power" doesn't really sound healthy, or fun.

[+]Endorsed ContributorInvalidity -12 points-11 points-10 points 12 years ago* (6 children) | Copy Link

Your ego isn't and neither are the egos of the majority of men, but you have to adopt a female perspective when objectively looking at this matter. Women want men who can lead them. Men who are capable of leading tend to outperform their female partners in many categories. A man who isn't making more than his wife isn't carrying his weight in a marriage. She doesn't want to sacrifice her resources to support him unless he has something else to offer her (looks, status, etc.).

You're projecting your own values onto others when you tell us that you believe it is a partnership and not a competition. I agree with you wholeheartedly that it SHOULD be a partnership... but the reality is that it isn't.

[–]RoamingAmber 20 points21 points22 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

you have to adopt a female perspective when objectively looking at this matter.

Female perspective chiming in. I've made more than the men I've been in relationships with more often than not. In my current, he makes a touch more on paper but services company debt while my personal and company finances are all free and clear of obligation.

The only time this disparity has ever been a problem is when my supposed partner couldn't stop bringing it up and couldn't stop making an issue out of it. He bemoaned the fact he wasn't the "provider." My response was that, financially, he was perfectly able to provide for us twice over. The fact that I could too and then some should have been frosting on the cake, but no.

It became harder and harder and finally impossible to see him in a positive light when It became apparent he was so insecure about his good qualities that he would let a dollar sign trash his entire sense of self.

[+][deleted] -21 points-20 points-19 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

That and statistically a women is much more likely to cheat if she out earns her SO, apparently resentment builds up as she views him as low status for not providing.

[–]JDoorjam 26 points27 points28 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Er, it appears that the consensus is that a man is more likely to cheat if a woman makes more money than he does. A cursory search didn't turn up any data showing the correlation you describe.

[–]JDoorjam 8 points9 points10 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Right -- so it's the men who are making less who cheat, rather than the women who are making more.

A man that makes that much less than a woman very likely has other redeeming qualities, where income becomes negligible. With that in mind, he is likely unphased by the fact that his wife makes more money. They would be the male-equivalent of a golddigger.

This seems like a leap. Golddiggers would certainly be a subset, but just as easily the wife's career could have progressed substantially while the husband's did not -- especially recently, with the Great Recession impacting men harder than women.

[+]Endorsed ContributorInvalidity -14 points-13 points-12 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Right -- so it's the men who are making less who cheat, rather than the women who are making more.

You're extrapolating extreme examples to a wider subset of couples who fall under the category of women making more than their husbands.

A better sample to gather data on would be couples where the husband makes slightly less than the woman but not substantially less.

[+]rockumsockumrobots -19 points-18 points-17 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I would be fine with a woman earning more than me, but there would have to be specific ground rules. If she started having "the final say" in anything, and pushing what she wanted. Or said "I make the money, so we're getting a Honda CRV instead of a RAM 2500, end of discussion," then there would be a serious problem.

I am a very reasonable person and if she was good at doing taxes and I was good at cooking dinner, I'd cook the dinner and let her do the taxes (hypothetical, I'm a terrible cook). I have no problem with that, but when she asserts some kind of control, then that's when I have to lay ground rules, or we're getting a divorce and she stands to lose more than me.

[–]daskleinemadchen 2 points2 points2 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Why would she stand to lose more than you?

[–]Diblums 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think the logic is, divorces split the estate 50/50, since she makes more she's losing more? Just my theory.

[–]rockumsockumrobots 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Because she has, most likely invested more in the relationship than me and where I live it's an even split. So, half of hers is more than half of mine.

[–]Jareth86 10 points11 points12 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You could always just not marry a shitty person.

[–]southernmost 20 points21 points22 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You end up with a lot of well-paid, post-wall women wondering where all the "good men" are.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is where the idea of projection comes into play. The hardcore Beta male and the "strong independent woman" are truly cut from the same cloth as they emulate what they would desire in a mate. The hilarious thing is, both will eventually blame the opposite sex for their failings.

This is where one of the few advantages to being a man shows itself. Due to the later spike in masculine SMV, a man can swallow TRP, and right the ship. Women, unfortunately, can only console themselves with their cats as their ovaries deteriorate on a logarithmic scale.

[–]RedPillDan 4 points4 points4 points 12 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Money is only one part of the big picture. If you have more going on than just your cash flow you can keep her interested. The thing is, you have to be great at those other things. I've gotten a blowjob because my girl watched me wreck people in online videogames. No joke. She saw me as the best, the context didn't matter. Her man was the best. The best man gets a blowjob.

Women see your value as a whole. Not just the bits and pieces. I don't make as much money as my girl but I'm in great shape, I've got a nice car, I have an expensive watch, I dress well, I am way more intelligent than her (and show it) I am a way better cook than she will ever be, etc etc.

I tell her red pill shit to her face "Im not going to be with a women who doesn't satisfy me sexually" I flirt with girls openly, hand them my business card. My girl makes more money than me but guess what? I'm independent. I don't need her, I want her. I show her this much constantly and guess what? She puts out without resistance whenever I initiate. I got laid 6 times in the last 7 days. When she is ovulating she doesn't go out to flirt with the girls, she comes home to get fucked by her alpha. This woman asks me to go out with her pussy loser orbiters as their wingman. Asks me to give them advice.

Money doesn't mean a damn thing if the entire package is a success. You're going to need a better job than flipping burgers, but if you're successful, it doesn't matter what the context is. If her man is the best at something, she's giving him blowjobs for it.
The real redpill truth of the matter is... It doesn't matter how much money she makes. Her only power over a man is sex. Period.

[–]ModAerobus 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The thing is, I can actually get along with a woman who makes more than me. But I know that she can't. And because there are so many more risks associated with such a relationship, I never would form a LTR with such a woman.

[–]KentRichard -2 points-1 points0 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

When i meet a successful powerful independent women who earns more then me my penis stops working. This is what happens.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Though baseless, I would assume there is some other correlation as to why these successful women have a higher divorce rate. Maybe whatever Type-A "never good enough" mindset got them successful in the first place makes them destined to be cat lady's.

Two more punches, and I get a free Starbucks coffee...

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

So? the rule of thumb is AWALT for a reason.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

You're either post-wall or a gay man.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

So are you saying all RPW are post walk or gay men, seeing how try have similar ideals?

How long have you been together? What kind of person would you classify your boyfriend as?

[–]PrettyPistol87 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Almost a year. He is an awesome person! He is smart as hell-street, socially, emotionally-and very kind.

[–]Endorsed ContributorInvalidity 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

How would you feel if he lost his job

[–]PrettyPistol87 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

He would definitely not be a happy camper, and I would feel the effects of his stress and dismay, but I would do my best to support him until he got back up on his feet.

[–]Mintaka7 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I'm sorry, but that is exactly what everyone says, until it happens. Most people can't put themselves on those shoes. Hope it never happens, because more often than not, it takes a while to "get back on his feet". And meanwhile.... stuff can happen.

[–]PrettyPistol87 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

You're right. Stuff can always happen, but I know I will be there for my man. I turned down a job offer in Tampa, FL, just so I could stay close to him. Fucking Tampa. I love this guy though, and he was a hard find.

[–]Mintaka7 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You sound like a good girl, I hope you only change for the better :)

[–]Endorsed ContributorBluepillProfessor -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Women who make more money than the men is not a problem unless it empowers them to deny sex.

The ONLY power women have in a relationship is SEX. The ONLY power. My wife makes boatloads of money. I make squat compared to her. I could give a fucking shit. I have told her several times I would be much more happy living in a 1-bedroom shithole in the inner city with a woman who fucked me every day than with a woman who makes a enough money to pay for a big house in the suburbs. I mean it every time I say it.

[–]chakravanti93 -2 points-1 points0 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That is some seriously skilled handling of a difficult situation. It works because you have independant internal practical security.

Basically, it's an ongoing struggle to avoid spoiling yourself with her income.

I've been there and to this day I still consider her the best woman in my life, may she RIP.

TRP is a set of equations and values. If you understand the math, you can upset the traditional formula to achieved nuanced results that may fly in the face of the standard without tearing it down.

[–]Endorsed ContributorBluepillProfessor -1 points0 points1 point 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I feel like I am balanced on a knife edge every day of my life. I keep getting cut but nothing terminal so far.

Basically, it's an ongoing struggle to avoid spoiling yourself with her income.

YES! This is my biggest struggle. Why work hard and try? It is not like I am supporting a family or have a wife that actually needs me for anything except a masculine frame and a stable rock who loves his/her kids. I thought we had a history as well but Brifault's Law is a bitch.

[–]Ironhigh -2 points-1 points0 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This can be completely explained by hypergamy.

Women want someone better than them, when they start making more money than you they'll want to dump you more than ever, despite being in a better financial position.

While on the other hand we have the man that has the desire of being in charge and gaining territory and will be treated as a purse puppy.

It's not impossible to maintain a relationship where the woman is the breadwinner, but be advised that our human instincts will constantly fight against it.

[–]Mihawk01 -2 points-1 points0 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You can actually manipulate women who earn more, with some skill. Usually they are pretty insecure, with right alpha skills, you can make a pretty comfortable living for yourself.
