It's unlikely this was an MRA. Firstly there's no precedent of MRAs attacing feminists. Further, she FAILED at shutting down MIAS so why would anyone there be angry with her since they won. Given that she had every reason to be angry, failed at her goals and was the first person to make the connection with MIAS, and also given how feminists have often resorted to tactics of this kind, it's not too far fetched that she inflicted the wounds on herself or got somebody to do it for her. That also explains why she's so quick to publish a photo of it. Hardly the behavior of a traumatized victim.

It may or may not be this way, but history teaches us that it's a very real possibility.

Looks like they're wise to the possibility of another wounded gazelle tactic, at least.

I don't care if I come across as an asshole, but I'm betting she fell down or did it to herself.

We'll see once they look at those "threatening e-mails" and start actaully making a case from this, but again, I'm betting she's lying just based on the way she's going about it.

She posted this picture of herself with the caption “How’s this for a ‘no makeup selfie’?

Just doesn't seem like the tone of someone who was attacked by a stranger near her home....

I'm curious about the details of her story. You don't get a chipped tooth from an assault without your whole mouth swelling up, too, right? It looks like she fell down on the pavement. Of course, getting pushed to the pavement could have part of the assault, so I would hate to come to a conclusion.

What is suspicious is the clamoring for attention after an assault. If that happened to most people they'd be too shaken to think about selfies and making points.

The best course of action to out her would be to ignore her all together. Her loud "look at me look at me!" attitude now is very suspect. She's trying to drum up sympathy since her little ego bruising. If she was really assaulted and threatened via email then the police should be her first recourse, not twitter.
