This poor statement was validated to me last night with a girl I was talking to. We got on the topic of the "wierdness" of online dating sites, and she told me how she was "creeped out" by a 60 year old black man who was practically stalking her OKC account. I probed deeper, asking her "What was so creepy about it? Can't fault a guy for trying." And she literally said to me, "Well, he better have a ton of money in the bank account for me to consider dating that old." To wit, I replied, "So 'creepiness' in older men is inversely proportional with their wealth." She replied, "pretty much".

I had a moment of epiphany just then, because here was a girl who went from "eww 60 year old is creepy" to "hmm 60 year old is fuckable if MONEY.", within the space of literally less than 3 minutes. Hypergamy on full display, hamster rationalization, male SMV can be increased with a bank account, etc."

So again, this 'pay for dates' website is just another validation of what we already know to be true.

A guy with cash can get a ton of hot girls. A guy with charisma can get a ton of hot girls. What attracts girls is not the cash, but the associated action and demeanor associated with having cash. Other guys respect you, you feel confident, you dress well, you're hopefully eloquent, etc.
