So what he's saying basically is 'if you're too fat, don't wear them. And if you're not, get the proper size. Stop buy them two sizes too small.'

It's worth noting once again that to women, the truth is generally of secondary importance to how they feel.
I have found when arguing with my wife that presenting facts until I'm blue in the face won't get me a tenth of the reaction that I get if I tell her "that hurt my feelings". And my wife is much more logical than most women I've known. Even so, I can completely "lose" an argument with her even when I'm completely correct, if she doesn't feel that I am, while I can "win" one where even I know I'm wrong if I just make her feel that I'm right.

I only skimmed the article, but they didn't seem like sensible points to me. It just seemed like a company who went cheap on something to make a little more profit trying to change the attention.
"Bought a new pair of groove pants in late-August ... they now look like they are YEARS old," wrote one customer. "I have cheap pants from Target that have held up better. Where did the quality go?" (they're $100 each).

Welcome to the corporate world. Corporation whether they are lead by men or women, care about their bottom lines the most. There are many ways to increase that bottom line, but all the ways can be put into 2 categories 1. Increase price and therefore revenue. 2. Reduce cost and therefore increasing profits. The company acted in a manner that is natural for a company to act. Truth is, a company expects people to buy clothes that fit them, and those clothes are designed for people who fit in those clothes. If a company can reduce costs by getting cheaper material that still fits the person who has the body for it, than they will do that. They don't make clothes thinking "oh, lets examine how these will perform if a person who is 2 sizes bigger than the suggest size wears them"

Example #2 is best embodied by the toilet paper industry...They call it desheeting. Rather than raise prices they make the size of the sheets smaller and less of them.
People dont notice when their latest potato chips go from 300g bag to a 280g bag but they will sure as shit notice if their 300g bag goes from $1.99 to $2.99...

I feel like we're just dealing with a giant corporate hamster here - "Our supposed high quality products that cost 3 times what everyone else charges are wearing out early? Well, it's because...um...it must be that women are buying sizes to small for them! Yah! It's not because we want to make another $0.50 on something...no..."

They didn't say they don't want to make another $0.50 cents on them. Of course they do. But, in case you don't know, pricing can be explained rather simply. Company's price their products at the maximum that the consumer is willing to pay for that product. If the consumer thinks that they can get the same product at 1/3 the price from a competitor, than that consumer should go to the competitor. Doing that will either force the company to increase quality or reduce price. There is nothing misogynistic about what he said. Some women are too big to wear yoga pants, and if those women wear the yoga pants they will stretch them to the point where they are see through because the yoga pants weren't made to be stretched that far. This situation is similar to one where a person buys a graphics card that says very clearly in the manual "do not overclock this graphics card. Doing so will burn it and can cause serious damage to your machine" than the person goes ahead and overclocks it anyway, and than tries to blame manufacturer because the graphics card burned and fucked up his computer.

God, this whole fat shaming thing is ridiculous.
It's disgusting and slothful to be fat. It's a sign of either lack of desire to be attractive and healthy or lack of ability to be attractive. Either one is shameful to one degree or another.
