Cuz I still need a job. As soon as any tenured "Masculinist Studies" chairs open at a university, we can come out from the shadows.

[–]dropit_sphere 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Also, the the same weakness that prevents MRA from making much progress (I.e. there is no Team Man) lowers the bar for what needs to be achieved. You personally don't need everything misandrist repealed---you just need your local environment's culture to change.

There will be no "Wave of Masculism" or "Masculist Moment" in the same way feminism saw broad, nationwide changes. What will happen is the internet manosphere will remain, grow, and develop, and isolated pockets of allied men will pop up. Whether those pockets are gangs, the mob, technology startups, or firehouses, I don't know(possibly all of them), but there will be no open organization as global and cohesive as the manosphere.

So stay anonymous, and talk to your bluepill friends, and stick around in the manosphere. You don't owe the MSM any explanation. The real progress is happening in comment sections, and in your own life.

Also, my second point is, I don't care if this goes mainstream. You can't have political movements in a democracy when over 50% will get offended.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's why I am so amused at the call for making paternity tests legally required. As if democratic government is a viable or even acceptable substitute for cultural masculinity.

[–]roe_[S] 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It's going to regardless of our preferences in the matter.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There's a ton of useful easy to do shit that people don't take advantage of.

When I started blogging, I had a decision to make. I knew that writing under my real name would affect not just me, but also my husband and my kids. I also knew that without that honesty and conviction...

How brave of her, to write safe, relatively popular, mainstream stuff under her own name.

[–]roe_[S] 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

A woman, who questions feminism, and supports game is safe and mainstream?

Also, it's kind of beside the point. If Red Pill views are going to get mainstream attention, and we expect to be taken seriously....

[–]2StandardDeviations 5 points6 points7 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I haven't heard of her being followed by police or labeled part of a Hate Group like Roosh. Yeah, her stuff is pretty safe and pretty tame. How many guys can keep a white collar career posting this stuff?

A blogger who hides behind an empty screen demonstrates that he does not have the courage of his convictions. He is not willing to be interviewed and state what he believes. He cannot speak truth to power.

Haha yes let's martyr ourselves! Pissing in the wind, my friend. Western civilization is in an unstoppable downward spiral. Like a hard drug addict there is no chance to rebound until they hit rock bottom.

That's the sting of the red pill. Tall and muscular is the equivalent of narrow waist with big boobs.

So you can wallow in this fact or you can boost your SMV through other means. Learn game, get in shape, get smarter over all, make more money, and work on being confident. Own being short instead of being unconfident about it.

I'd say just the equivalent of great boobs. It's still possible for a guy to be very attractive without being tall and muscular. The same cannot be said of fat chicks.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Oh yeah its possible, but make no mistake, looking good and being tall is a big plus for ladies.

Well, welcome to the sexual market place. The good news is, your place isn't set, the bad news is, you're gonna have to work for the pussy a bit more.

I'm not out shape (ran a marathon in 3:15:00 recently)

Do you even lift?

[–]bradlums 1 points1 points1 points 13 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Nope. I did p90x last summer and got up to 135 lbs. from 120, but I've been depressed for the past year and I dropped all the way down to 105. Honestly I can't blame anybody for the way they treat me now, I experienced a lot of rejection even when I weighed more and took better care of myself, I have no doubt in my mind why I'm single right now.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Fucking get to the gym man, for you, not for girls.

How tall are you? Shorter tan Joe Pesci? Cause that motherfucker was scary is Casino and Goodfellas.

I'm 5'6", but also have a very young face. I realize I'm not THAT short but being told that never makes me feel better. That's basically the equivalent of saying you're not THAT inferior. I realize my height is no longer the sole reason for my rejections, girls have expressed interest occasionally and I try to be friendly but I'm so nervous and timid it's basically a guaranteed no. It's a self defeating cycle.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Wow.

Are you me?

Same height, young face, was far more outgoing when I was younger, etc.

The one difference is that I would never attend a sociology class.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

lol 5'6"? Far from terminal dawg. That should not at all stop you from pulling girls that are same height or shorter. Get lean and buff, dress well, fix your hair, and make your posture impeccable.

[–]Endorsed Contributor30303030303030 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Get yourself to the boxing gym or if you can't bruise your face (you can) bjj gym. After 3 months you will start sparrings and you will get smacked in the face or chocked out, you will also smack someone elses face. It will do you good. I don't know what it is but it works, you just don't care about bullshit anymore, it's a scary thing to do but doing scary things will spike your confidence. Sitting and thinking about it, reading books about it and talking about it will not. Confidence is ultimately self respect and that you can gain only through acting.

There's that cliché about men having to lose a street fight and win one. I agree with it.

Also do nofap and noporn, 90 days free of both, no edging no nothing. This is important. After a month without dropping the load pressure in your balls will strip you out of your self doubt.

BJJ and grappling are great for small guys. You'll see 130 lbs men absolutely manhandle 200 lbs ex-rugby players using nothing but leverage. After a year or two you'll realize that most people have no idea what to do when their backs hit the ground. Once you know this -- and know it in your bones -- it becomes much easier to deal with other men because you'll know that if the shit hits the fan, you can do some real damage. Some guy in a bar giving you shit about being short? Pfffft. He'll probably gas 30 seconds into a real conflict.

But even more than that, you'll stop giving a shit about being smaller/weaker or proving your manliness because you'll know that there's always someone out there who can take your lunch no matter who you are so there's really no point.

Lastly, don't call MMA "doing UFC". It's like saying, "I'm going to the park to do some NBA."

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Sounds like you are just unconfident period.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

His writing isn't my cup of tea, but this guy is a short man that seems to make it work.

[–]Hoodwink 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Right. You just have to become a movie star worth millions and millions of dollars.. Easy as pie.

[–]Endorsed Contributor30303030303030 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

That's not the point but still, if he was shy about his height he wouldn't be a movie star, would he?

[–]Hoodwink 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I don't think his performances can translate well into real life. The movie camera does tricks with the height of movie stars that can't happen in real life.

A short man giving strongly worded speech is seen as someone having a 'Napoleon complex' while in the movie he seems more present because his height is out of the picture.

[–]Endorsed Contributor30303030303030 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Obviously, people look different on camera and I'm not comparing movie to real life.

I get what OP is talking about and I know that short men do look weaker compared to taller ones. All I wanted to say is it's possible to be strong and dominating even lacking inches and Pesci was simply first thing that came into my mind cause I like the guy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JD44ouab5pc

Tyson was what, 5'9? It's a handicap but a small one and he can make it work. There are plenty of things he can improve his status with.

"That's ok. I prefer big tits"

*Looks around the room in displeasure.
