One of the best parts of being a man is that I don't need other people to understand me in order to feel validated. I can do whatever I feel like doing, tell people whatever I want them to think, work on myself, and end up having sex, making money, having friends, and living a generally happy life.

I'm almost 40. My mom's almost 70. I could tell her whatever I wanted because I don't give a shit what she thinks. I don't tell her, though, because I don't want to bother her. I'd rather she be happy than worry about me.

I can't think of any reason that I would ever tell anybody about The Red Pill. Doing something like telling your parents how you used to be weak, suicidal, depressed, sucked with girls, and how now you're part of some online woman-hating internet cult that disseminates the skills for how to have casual sex without dating seriously or getting married is something you'd only do if you're still stuck on Mom's emotional teat. It's something you'd do if you still yearn for understanding and acceptance and validation from your parents.

The thing is what purpose does it serve in telling them? Or telling anyone about studying red pill? Are you saying it just for the sake of blurting it out? Are you saying it because you crave their validation? Both those reasons aren’t good reasons to spill the beans: the former has no purpose and the latter is you operating with the wrong frame.

I have to yet to find a good reason to tell family about pickup and red pill but if anyone has one, I’ll hear you out

My 2 cents but I think it works for the best. Keep this place to yourself and make sure you are never doxxed. Come here to learn and then go out there and build yourself a great life getting jacked in the gym, building your career or business and enjoying great hobbies in your spare time. If you have friends that are in need of help show them through your examples. If they find TRP on their own then they also should keep their lip zipped about it while they read and learn. One of the first things I read here was Don’t Talk About Fight Club and I never will.

People will fight tooth and nails to dismiss what you have to say, so why bother? It took me a long time to understand these concepts, do you think my parents will get it with just a peep talk?
