I'm dating a new girl and she's a solid 8. I like her but something happened tonight that made me realize she'd never be a good LTR.

Example: I was going to drive her home. It was cold outside and I put on a hat that didn't go with my outfit. I just wanted something warm to get to the car in. I try to dress well but it doesn't come naturally to me and is a bit of a blindspot for me. I consult my female friends when it comes to dressing sense because mine is lacking.

Instead of helping me fix it and picking out a new one, she just rolled her eyes and sarcastically said, "Cute."

I didn't say anything but the situation made me think that she isn't the kind of woman who I'd ever LTR. My past girlfriends would give me a variation of "Wow, you look like a fucking dork. Take that off your head, you're a little young to dress like you're 70." and pick out something better.

Am I overreacting? Maybe she just wants a man who already knows how to dress and doesn't need help? Or am I justified in thinking that this little thing actually a good indicator that she will make a bad partner?
