I'm a bit of a Nietzschian scholar. He's a great thinker. He adored artists and actors. He thought our greatest aspiration should be to treat our lives like a canvas, and that we should use it to create something unique and wonderful. I think that's awesome.

If he expressed negative views about women, it was typically to point out that our attitudes about the opposite sex are thoroughly cultural, and often destructive of our own potential.

That's actually pretty RP if you think about it.

The author of this article seems to be an ordinary feminist, not extreme by the ridiculous standards of academia, but obviously very, very blue pill. Her chosen field of study is Nietzsche, who by modern standards was wildly politically incorrect (but then, pretty much anybody from more than a hundred years ago is bound to be). The author's approach is to her subject is to try to jam a square peg into a round hole sideways, and when it doesn't fit, declare victory. For example, the phrase "playing of the 'correct' gender roles," with scare quotes around "correct," is just ordinary modern academic women's-studies feminist boilerplate. Nobody talked like that before the 70's, certainly not Nietzsche.

I've met many women who were actually in love with men to the point they became very delusional, I've also met men who were just acting being in love, when it suited them only and I can only say it's not about gender but about mental toughness. Whoever has more wins, whoever doesn't have loses and falls in love.
