Just grab a few drinks and pay on the first date.

Don't make a big deal out of it, it'll be like $25 max.

The second date, you can ask her to pay for her share (more than likely she will just do it anyway).

I’m amazed more folks aren’t saying “don’t pay for her”

It’s 2019. I seriously have a hard time believing there’s any real reason it’s a bad idea having a grown woman pay for herself. I can’t think of any justifiable reason you would NEED to pay for her, either. If you experience any resistance to this, they’re doing your vetting for you. Yikes.

I can’t be the only one who sees it this way.

“Let’s get coffee” pay only for yours. Don’t make a big deal about it, just order first and get out of her way.
