This is a report of false sexual harrassment accusations. I think the title wasn't clear enough.I'm not a mature or old enough man, so I won't be giving any "advice" or "conclusions" here. I'm 23 and I feel like it would stir some thoughts on those who have never gone through a similar situation, so make your own conclusions from this couple stories about how a woman's word will most certainly be taken as truth, no matter the gravity of the accusations.

A quick regional context:

I'm from a historically conservative country, that just started flirting with feminism/leftism about 20 years ago. The last 5 years's when the things started getting bad.

What happened 5~ years ago:

He worked as a regional (state) director for a national company. He had to be alway from home most of the time, but we lived a rich life, money just wasn't a problem. Sometimes the guys from corporate/main HQ would tell him to fire someone to cut costs (he overseen 15 people or so), and when he did it, people thought /he/ was the one firing them, in reality he was just the messenger. 6 years later and he still talks/associate with most male employees he had at the time, even the ones he was told to fire.

But when he had to fire a female worker, oh boy... It might look like a joke, but this one girl who was part of a local afro-religion called "candomblé" (big in this specific state) literally told him she would get her people to put some kind of witchcraft on our family. We don't fucking care, we're christians after all, but this illustrates very well the kind of things he's gone through when firing women.

Then he had to fire another woman (economic crisis btw) and some time later she's suing him and the company for sexual harrassment. People from HQ went nuts when they got the message, he was immediately "politely asked" to step down from the position he's kept for the last 5 years, so he did, and we fucking broke. We've had days from then on where we had to decide between buying cat food or having breakfast, it was that bad - and we are just getting back in our feet. This girls argument in court was literally (not joking here): "He greeted me with a kiss in the cheek and a hug". The judge asked about it to other ex-employees witnesses (even the witnesses that were supposed to side with the girl lol) and everyone said: "He did that to everyone. He was a really caring boss and treated us like family, there was never anything sexual about it." and he was found innocent - but he had already lost his job. As I said, 5 years later and he's still trying to get back on his feet (he never settled for a cashier job or something, he's been a businessman his entire life). Think about that: a woman said something, people immediately took that as truth and my ENTIRE family has gone through years of literal misery because of that. We've had months of having 1 meal a day because of a girls word. Having to leech money from distant parents, friends, selling things, just to feed ourselves, because of this girls word. Waking up hungry in the middle of the night just to find out that there's only water and canned peas in the refrigerator. Gosh, I love white male privileges.

Quick annex: This one isn't as serious as my dad's - I had a BIG World of Warcraft guild, I didn't really like the game but I loved the friends I made there. I dated a member - one day, my position as guild leader had me do something that would displease her, I spoke with her, said sorry but I have to do it, and then sometime later she just told everyone in the guild probably that I hit her, that I was always offending her or whatever - no-one cared to tell me what I did, I was just suddenly swarmed with dozens of people in my discord channel, then one of them started saying for everyone that they were all leaving the guild and that I was disgusting and all the guilds girls were afraid of me. When I asked what happened, the response was the classic "you know what you did". No I don't, I never offended, raised my voice or hit a girl in my entire life, and I was in deep love with that girl. I had just moved to a new city so I had no real life friends, and I lost every single one of my virtual friends because of this girl I "loved".
