Women are usually polite and will smile.

Especially if you live away from metropolitan areas. If you live in Midwest, South, rural areas, super suburban areas, the same can happen.

Some women will even go to lunch with you, but they may or may not want to date you. They just want a friend. Women are notorious for getting men to do their work at workplace.

Could there be a woman interested in you here in a good way? Yes but there's a lot of women who will just use you knowing a smile goes a long way.

Chances are it's female curiosity which is good, but you're right not to escalate at work.

Put a small mirror on your office wall. Position it to give you a better view. If anyone asks, say "I read it as a tip to have better presence on the phone. It supposed to remind me to smile while I'm talking."

See what happens. You prolly don't want to dip you pen in company ink, but that doesn't mean you can't get these bitches all sweaty. Start grunting when they walk by. Nothing too overt, but the closed mouth "mmm hmm" manly as fuck sound you make over a good steak. Add in some under your breath talk of approval.
"Yesss!" "Get over here" " your mine now" "I got you"

There will be an endless parade of them walking by to get their fix.

If anyone comments, you just look up with the dumb look and go "huh? I'm crushing this, what's up?"

It's more fun than putting 300 Dixie cups of water on someone's desk. But not as much as actually tin foiling an entire cubicle.
