People tend to compliment my fiance and not me, even on joint efforts.

For example, people come into our home (which I did the majority of the decor) and compliment him for what he's done with the place.

Another example is that he and I (and a female intern) were in a team together for this fun and silly competition at his works picnic. A girl who works there (with her husband right next to her) was cheering on my fiance and no one else on the team. It was a bit weird. (She actually likes me and wants to hang so it was extra weird)

Things like this happen a lot, even when I am actively doing the work with him or it was very obviously a group effort (my fiance knows NOTHING about decor).

Have any of you had this happen? Also how do I settle the anger boiling in me when I'm hosting someone so rude.
