There was a scientific study done a few year ago that showed women that has unprotected sex scored lower on depression and other factors compared to their counterparts that used condoms.(you can't link on asktrp, Google it)

It's by no means definitive but that and the logic of higher oxytocin release from unprotected sex can lead us to a conclusion that in most likelihood going raw does improve pairbonding.

That being said you need to consider the risks of STDs, the most inconvenient being pregnancy.

My last LTR was always raw. To be honest I don't think I'd ever go back to them.

We all have that primal urge. If you don't wanna have babies though, you might want to look into alternative methods of birth control.
