Reminds me when I was student I read an article about students prostitution as a way to survive while my parents would give me 360 euros a month and I was doing just well. No bottles on clubs, no fine dining, no expensive clothes, (no girls), no problem.

Of course they're bad with money. There may be a few outliers (haven't met many that were financially responsible without the influence of a man in their lives), statistically speaking but, in general, put a woman in charge of anything and poor management will result. Just look at what has happened to subsets of the population raised by single mothers

I think it’s a lot about their perspective on money.

Similar behaviors are also visible in teenage boys who haven’t worked real jobs before and are just wasting away their parents money. Like teenage boys, a significant (albeit declining) portion of women have had real laborious jobs so they have little humility when it comes to money.

Out of $1.5 Trillion in student debt in US, around 60% is owed by women.

Most women I have seen are terrible with money and have no interest/desire to invest money

nah, i know a lot of women who are very good with money. this applies to some/some rule. some women and some men suck with money, not just women in general

not a clue about even basic budgeting or saving, let alone investing.

The system will not let women starve and they know it. SOMEONE will always rescue them.

$100k in debt with a bodycount in the hundreds? Not a dealbreaker for some rich beta bucks... especially if she says "I'm not that girl any more".

My daughter had a Roth in high school and a $9000 credit limit in college. She was in an Uber once with 3 friends and their phones kept ringing and they would reject the calls. She found out it was collectors harassing the three of them for payments on their maxed out college credit cards. All she could do was shake her head and thank us for training her young.

2 why the fuck does a dude who makes $130k and lives with his parents need to take a loan against himself and his retirement savings just to put not even 20% down on a house and still pay PMI?
