I read the sidebar and other books and know about shit-tests, negging, cocky comedy, kino, and slowly building tension. But I have no clue how the fuck to do this as a beginner because it's an information overload. I read entire fucking books like David Deangelo's Double your Dating but I only read it once along with the TRP handbook, but I can't keep stopping and re-reading theory and expecting real life change to happen. All I really retained is: girls are emotional creatures and AWALT, you have to live within your own frame, don't emotionally react, trust yourself, don't be afraid to be a bit cocky and have fun and be in the present moment. I know more, but not that I could remember unless someone else mentioned, so it's only theoretical atm. A meet-up with a chick HB7-8 is going to end up happening because I said I liked her fashion sense and wanted some advice. It's only my second approach since I've started my journey and I know that not being explicit about a date or not giving off sexual tension vibes subtly early on is a big no-no. But fuck it, you live, you learn. We're going to likely end up meeting up on campus for coffee and I want to use this as training on escalating and kino, and I could care less if she's receptive to it but I want real life experience on reading cues in the moment, and knowing someone elses' boundaries. If I keep fucking ghosting chicks because I fucked up my approach, then I'd just be fucking up any chance at learning anything or putting myself through uncomfortable situations.

TL;DR What would be the best way to use kino and escalate in this situation where I fucked up my approach in the sense that I said I wanted fashion advice? Now we're likely meeting up for coffee and I want to see if I can still establish any tension or at least use this as training for how to do that. Any simple advice for escalating and kino for beginners that someone can digest with zero real life experience?
