I am seeing someone new, and we have been exclusive for 3 months, and in an official relationship for nearly 2. I am 28 and he is 27.

So far I have been very happy with him, I think because I'm in a good place and feel happy, have been practicing self love, meditation, yoga... That i attracted someone like him. So far he has been quite thoughtful and respectful and we get on really well.

My fault is that I have weak boundaries and am too forgiving with others, and I'm working on not being a doormat anymore. He was at mine yesterday while I was at work, as he is between jobs and while at mine he spent a couple of hours applying to jobs and the rest of the time watching TV and drawing. (he is a hard worker and ambitious normally)

I got home after a long day at work, and saw he had bought food thqt only he likes such as cookies and sparkling water. I had texted him before this asking if I should buy anything for dinner and he said no. He did ask me if he should get anything from the shop, and I said that there is pasta at home but nothing to go with it, so something for that, but that it is his decision. I thanked him for sorting this out as I could relax. So this really threw me off, as i was tired and it meant I had to leave home again to go to the shop and buy food, and then also cook dinner for us as he didn't offer, and was expecting me to make dinner.

He realised that I was a bit upset, it didn't make me feel cherished or like a team. He didn't apologise but said he should've cooked and will do so next time. I think it is because he would've felt awkward cooking incase my housemates came home, but that excuse maybe isn't good enough? Rigg now I'm still upset but not sure if this is a red flag to not... Advice is appreciated, thank you.
