People are not "shitting on" involuntary celibates en masse, outside of The Internet and other involuntary celibates, no one really cares and goes on with their life as usual.

I would surmise that if you never used reddit or were not an involuntary celibate yourself, you would not care as well.

when I was in college that's pretty much how the numbers broke down... there were more guys wanting dorm room blow jobs than there were women who wanted to give them, so the few promiscuous girls got around with half the building. I wanted a boyfriend, but I also didn't want anything to do with any of that... what I had to offer (chubby, awkward, 0 experience) wasn't what fresh-out-of-highschool guys wanted. I fixed myself up, got fit, and learned some fucking social skills... I didn't whine about it because no-one would have given two shits about me either.

if I had gotten into a hateful feedback loop about it I'd have only been hurting myself and preventing my my own progress. it wouldn't have been involuntary at all, it would have been self-imposed.

There's a lot of frustrating and maddening situations in adult life.

Rub one out, downgrade their expectations, throw themselves into other activities to divert themselves, take cold showers or work to improve. Or... get this... any combination of those they can make work. It isn't rocket science. If people are throwing violent murderous tantrums because they can't have their own way with other people's bodies then that's a law enforcement issue, not a matter of using public policy to appease those people at the expense of others.

Women aren't angling for tons of casual sex the way men are. Lots of women who are celibate are fine with it. They might be sad about not having a relationship and lots of bloggers yammer about that but the concept that women aren't getting enough sex is pretty much not applicable.

Well it's quite simple really. If they aren't getting laid, that is their own damn personal problem. It isn't society's responsibility to appease them. They should go find their own damn hobbies and take cold showers. If they want to shoot up a place, then it's an issue for law enforcement. But it will never be an issue for society. Again, it's their own damn personal problem, and they gotta get over it. Sorry if it's harsh, but that's the cold truth.

80% of women are not having sex with 20% of men. That's simply not true. And no, adding a bunch of bullshit qualifiers doesn't make it true either. It doesn't hold true for college and 20% of men aren't having 80% of sex or whatever. So you're talking about a problem that doesn't exist.

There are guys who have a harder time with dating than others and that disparity isn't completely in a person's control. But for the large part, I'd say almost 100%, the dudes that whine the most and claim to be completely unable to have any kind of relationship or sex are themselves to blame for their predicament. Their behaviour and beliefs keep them single. And those guys only really get shit on here on the internet and mostly by other guys in similar situations.

This post feels like a set up to say if something does happen it is the fault of women for not doing their patriotic duty and sexing a bunch of people up. The same people will be calling women sluts for sexing people up and told they disqualified themselves for LTRs.

I largely agree with the OP. I can't really add anything, I think you are simply correct.

Let me give you an example. Some months ago this was reported:

Throughout the media the headlines were exactly the same: "Female suicide rate in UK highest it has been for a decade". It was barely mentioned in passing that the rate was less than one-third that of male suicide.

All suicides are sad, of course, but if it was the other way around and women were committing suicide with three times the prevalence of men, it would be shouted from the rooftops. We are continually told that something must be done about the low conviction rate for rape, for example.

It seems to me that this is the way nature works for many species. Look at Lions for example. The males only really get to mate when they are the leader of their pride. Few male Lions make it to adulthood let alone become the one that gets to mate... Of course, we are not Lions, so it's not exactly the same, but biologically it's not ever going to be surprising that more men spend life celibate than women.

Still, it's sad, and I wish it wasn't the case - I'm all for as many people being happy as possible. But you can't blame women or society as a whole for this as if it's some conspiracy against (white) men. Things are changing a lot within our society and it's true that it's imbalanced - but it always has been to some degree. It's been imbalanced in white men's favour in most aspects of life for a very long time - I'm sorry you're living in the era where it's not going so much your way, but that's how it is right now. Life is easier for attractive people of the right age, economic background and culture - it's always been that way. Life has never been fair...

The 80/20 rule, male disposability, and the "women are wonderful effect" only exist because women are the ones that get pregnant. If men were the only sex capable of producing more humans, society would give much more of a fuck about them.
