Honestly what else would you expect or would you want women to base their selection on, when the entire premise of the app is to make a decision from a picture? Unless you want to upload your tax-returns or your thesis instead of your face there isn't really much else to decide on for anyone using the app. Sure you can type a few lines about yourself on your profile but it's a tiny amount and the main goal of tinder is clearly to select on looks and then have a conversation after you have established that you find eachother physically attractive - that's also why it has evolved into more of a hookup app than a dating site
