I don't think your criticisms of the tenor of the debate are accurate.

If anything, the debates on PPD are the opposite of how you describe them. Pretty restrained in fact.

TBP sub itself is satire and therefore mostly mockery and some pretty damn hilarious comedy.

What is described on that post would literally take hours of reading each week. Why would somebody do that if it wasn't part of their job or an obsession? Give me the Cliffs' Notes on the present topic. What would be better is if both sides would take more responsibility to link sources so that one side can get the general idea in a relatively short amount of time.

This is a tricky one. RP in general is a frustratingly similar ideology full of "No True Scotsman!" arguments. There are things RP sometimes gets right, but as there's no official dogma it's often impossible to predict if the specific argument one is making will be challenged or agreed with. While it's true the RPsphere at large is massive, there's no real dogma or set of beliefs outside of the sidebar, and even that is negotiable.

I think this comes in waves. As bloops hang out and learn a little, they figure out more of where RP comes from and can at least begin to understand how some people have those views. But not so with noobs, I'll grant you that.

I've been on both sides. That post is why PPD will never be a debate. Both need to be educated. BPers are NOT educated on Red Pill Praxeology. Its a massive amount of work, and BP people would rather make fun of the TRP guys struggling through anger phase than see the whole picture the Red Pill theory clearly predicts.

Its like having a debate about Linear Algebra with a person that has yet to take Algebra. Fuck, they barely know what a matrix is, but it kind of looks like a giant throbbing cock to them and that's offensive to their morals.

Hell, I could walk up to someone, say I have a pretty damn good way to get your dead bedroom fixed. For good. Most can't even get past the part where they are responsible for it. Let alone the amount of reading and action it requires one to do.

So they just want a place to complain and be a victim. PPD is kind of like that. BPers get to be the burned spouse shaking their fists at the audacity of having their feelings rejected and their perspectives challenged. RPers just chuckle, push buttons and watch that hamster go crazy! And in that display of feelings, you can clearly see the RP praxeology shine through.

It's fun for a while. Then some greek chick comes in, posts shit and won't be responsible for any opinions that just might require her to hold a challenging thought in her head, thus shitting on everything for a little attention. Hell, then it's how many avoidance statements can you make her come up with before she comments that she's going to off herself in the future. She may or may not, but she's got that trump card so she doesn't have to take any responsibility; not even on the internet.
