Look man, work on yourself, all aspects. Gradually become more social and take up a hobby where you can meet others. Go out there with an open mind and over time things will improve.

Always play the long game, there is no quick fix in this life.

Mushrooms work for some, for a few weeks, but that isn't going to fix your problems.

When your life is good, give them a try then. You'll almost certainly get more out of it then anyway.

I think you’re probably be better off doing something productive, I.e. going to the gym, looking for a job, picking up a hobby, etc.

I find that over indulging yourself when you’re depressed makes you more depressed when you’re done. Which in turn makes you want to indulge even more and it becomes a vicious cycle.

They’re definitely not going to help you, and I can almost guarantee you’ll have a bad trip from the mindset it sounds like you’re in

Doing drugs, especially psychedelics, is the last thing you should do when you're depressed.

Could go either way. Some of the best shroom trips of my life came during some very some rough patches. Sometimes a massive perspective shift is all you need, and shrooms can work wonders for that. I could definitely see how things could go bad though.

Eat it my dude, prepare well for the journey, it is a profound teacher and let it show you to your self. You are sick and this is your medicine believe me, it helped me so much too.
