So, I don't want this to become a discussion on religion. After taking the pill, I've been re-reading my whole life and, as a Catholic, I've come to value several moral rules of traditional Catholicism which are in line with a Red Pill view of men, women and family:
-
Support of Marriage 1.0. As far as I know, it's the only religion that does not accept divorce and that actively fought against civil (or common law) marriage laws (and, once those were established, fought against divorce laws), especially in countries of Catholic tradition. If the woman and its social circle is also Catholic, this can still act as a real deterrent of divorce even under Marriage 2.0 legislation.
-
No contraception, no abortion, obligation to procreate in marriage. These three obligations hit the core of feminism--not surprisingly it's been feminism one of the most loud and fallacious critics of Catholicism last century. In Catholicism, spouses have a duty to have children, no artificial contraception is allowed (natural family planning is allowed), and abortion is a crime that bears excommunication (you're out of the Church and need a special forgiveness to get back). Not even contraceptive pills for the day after the day of intercourse.
-
No women priests or even altar-girls. Priests can't get married. Granted, after the 70's the use of altar-girls has been extended, but still it is contrary to current canonical laws. No women priests at all. Period. The explanation is that Christ chose men and not women to be his apostles. But why did he choose men? Red Pill theory gives the answer: women do not have the idealistic love necessary for a celibate priest to devote himself 100% to God.
-
No sex outside marriage. Granted, this may raise some eyebrows here in those that think that having sex with your girl is necessary to evaluate whether a LTR and even marriage is worthy. But in any case, this served as both an incentive to enter into Marriage 1.0 and to limit early female hypergamy for alpha fucks (pre-marital sex in men, especially with prostitutes, was viewed with far less rejection than female pre-marital sex).
Granted, many of these elements may also exist in other Christian religions. Granted, too, there is A WHOLE LOT of Blue Pill advice in mainstream Catholic preachers.
But I still think that the Catholic Church, with all its defects and child-abusing priests (probably also a consequence of contemporary feminist-centric view of the world), still maintains this obligations as its core moral doctrine. Under those circumstances, it made sense for men to get marry and have children. Not so anymore, thanks to divorce-rape laws and State-fueled hypergamy.
