You're telling one group that an individual's ability is irrelevant, and no matter how skilled they are, they're not good enough.

my girlfriend just graduated from college, for mechanical engineering, she just got her first job, and I asked her how the job interview went. Shes an immigrant from africa btw, she said they didnt even ask her any questions. They just gave her the job, her grades are good, and shes young and pretty. I just thought that it was funny that they just gave her that job like that.

When I was looking for work during the Obama days, many places had an online form to fill out that had a demographic questionnaire as well. I was honest when I filled these out and never heard from these companies.

I had the resume and qualifications to at least get the interview but not a peep once they saw I was a white man. Obama made it ok to hate white men and things haven't changed.

My BiL just got knocked back from a council job because “there were not enough aboriginal candidates” so the position is being re-advertised. Now personally I think affirmative action is bullshit, best candidate should get the position - man, woman, black, white or a fucking alien for all I care. What really aggravates me about this situation though is that with Covid and skyrocketing unemployment I’m sure people looking for work have better things to do than apply and interview for jobs they have no prospect in getting.

Scott Adams has told his story several times. How did he go from corporate cubicle-drone to rich cartoon artist? He worked his cubicle so well that he got promoted up to a certain point. That point? His bosses would say "we'd promote you but there's too many white males in this position, so sorry". The real glass ceiling for white men, blatantly told to his face.

So he told them to fuck off and went to another company. Only for that company to pull the same shit once he got promoted enough. Every time it was "hey, you're doing great, but too many white males sorry!" Literally what feminists whine about, but the inverse.

Yep i had that problem. Funny thing with covid, had a lot of phone interviews so they were seeing my ethnic name but not my white face, am adopted, got hired, now i get cold shoulder from woke staff. But my job is making shit happen seperate from them.....so 8 weeks in im wrecking face despite their road blocks, now theyre trying to get on my team, nope. I dont have a team, i have monkey temps that discard after every project.

I call bullshit on this. It's possible that companies may reject candidates to fill quotas but they would never possibly say that or hint at it. That would be a massive liability issue, at least in the US. Also all software companies are desperate to hire any talent with a pulse because it is so difficult. If you're good at software and not getting hired then it's something else.
