Friends that don't support you aren't really friends. Many of us also avoid social media, and those that do don't share our content openly there. Normies aren't able to process what we know, so they attack and shame it.

From my time in the artist community, I discovered it was very left wing. There was a lot of support for feminism, SJWs, LBGT, BLM, illegal immigration, and everything 'woke'.

But everything on the opposite side, MGTOW, Red Pill, MRA, equal rights, etc., was not tolerated. If you supported these things, they would ignore what you actually believe in, and accuse you of bad things. Such as being a misogynist, or racist, or wanting to harm other people.

No one would want to be friends with you, no one would want to associate with you, and no one would share or like your work.

I'm sure the majority of people didn't care. They weren't interested in politics, they just want to draw cool pictures and comics and enjoy fun art. But even they couldn't raise their voices. If you disagreed with one side, that mean you automatically support the other side.

The other thing I discovered was that being popular was more important than being skilled or talented. You could be the best artist in the world, but if you didn't spend the time and energy promoting your work, and building an audience, and making sure lots of people saw your work, then they wouldn't.

Today people are overloaded with information. Drawings, photographs, videos, tweets, videogames, series. All these things fight for your audience's attention. When you want people to see your work and enjoy it, you're not just competing with other similar artists, you're competing with all those things I mentioned, and more.

So, it was not just enough if you were able to draw well. More importantly was that you need to know a lot of people, and have good social skills. Which comes back to the first problem. If you're going to be an openly MGTOW artist, it is going to be a very difficult journey. The left hate it and will lie about it, the people in the center don't understand, and believe the lies, and the people on the right don't want to people to know that they support you.

In life you gain friends, and sometimes you lose friends. Sometimes it is because of stupid reasons. Politics in the year 2020 have been more dividing than ever in history, and things will only get worse. If people want to support things based on emotion and feelings, there's nothing you can do to change that in them.

You can only wish them well, and hope that one day they open their minds.

You'll make more friends, art groups etc are havens for simps and snowflakes. I'd be careful of discussing MGTOW in those circles dudes. Soon sharing an offensive meme will be considered rape.
