If he wanted to know when you were leaving and how long you'd be gone, he would ask. If he wanted another date with you, he would ask. I would give it maybe a couple more days but if there's no second date offer, stop responding and block.

I’d cut him off if I were you. There’s literally no excuse to not text. I recently (last week) experienced a really good first dinner date with good texting convo afterwards, but his texts became less and less frequent and he hasn’t texted me in 3 days! Obv I’ve cut him off. We deserve men who are interested and want to talk to us. Remember, if you have to think about it, and question his actions, that’s all the info you need. HVM don’t leave room for uncertainty.

It's been a week and he hasn't floated a second date? I would put him in the "tentatively no" category and wait until you are back home. If he doesn't plan a date by then, cut him loose. Also avoid playing pen pals with him and texting mindlessly for weeks.

Also beware of dating at work. Even if he is not in the same team, you may need to work with him later, or you may see him physically at work, or he may spread nasty gossip about you.
