If you don't have confidence in yourself, why would anyone else have confidence in you? You may not notice it or see it, but when you lack confidence you give off negative energy and vibes, even if you don't mean to, people can subconsciously sense this, completely changes how people see you.

You can't "just have confidence". It has to be grown like a tree. But first, you need a small seed of confidence to plant.

I built mine by walking around campus and looking people in the eye. If they look at you then you give them a nod as they pass by. After a while you'll realize that almost no one will look YOU in the eye. It started to feel a bit like a superpower. I used to look down and not make eye contact due to self-image issues but not anymore. Small things like this build confidence.

It's not a COMPLETE lie as confidence will get you laid but no one who ever uses that word tells you how to GET confident.
One of my boys who crushes tells me that all the time. His confidence comes from that fact he's attractive gym rat entrepreneur living it up in OC so of course he's got confidence oozing out the ass.

If you're in your situation, you won't be confident BUT you can improve your strength, finances and style so that the self improvement MAKES you confident (which is the biggest thing I've learned from TRP). When you couple that with going out all the time and seeing how women just vibe with you different not that you've improved it makes you wanna improve yourself more and creates a positive feedback loop.

well, for one thing i don't ever see anyone say that here. i'm sure some people occasionally do, but its not common at all, definitely not on every single post. just be confident is girl talk for "just talk in a way free of nervousness, supplicating intonation, and socially retarded speech patterns."

social retarded speaking includes speaking too fast, too quietly, and not speaking from your diaphragm (to test this, plug your nose when you are talking. if your voice becomes nasally, you are not speaking from your diaphragm). eye contact is critical, but with relaxed eyes as opposed to deer in headlights eyes. not tensing up your facial muscles. posture is also key. occasionally looking away from the chick as if she is boring you. dressing and grooming are thrown into confidence as well, for whatever reason.

another code word women will use is "sense of humor". this doesn't mean recognizing jokes to be funny, nor being able to be a clown. it means, "when i, or anyone else, talks shit about you to your face, you recognize and appreciate that we are just fucking with you, and you laugh about it, rather than getting defensive and butthurt."

Confidence comes from within after accomplishing external goals. I'm confident as fuck that I can squat 225 or deadlift 315 cause i've done it a billion times. I'm confident I can talk to a girl because I try to talk to everyone i see.

It’s a feedback loop.

If you are successful in things you do they will make you confident. If you’re confident, it’s more likely that you’ll do things successfully.

Doesn’t matter where you get on the train. Some people say fake the confidence to be successful, some say be successful to gain confidence.
