Whenever I do a coworker a favor, this woman fucking comments about it and it's pissing me off... how to deal with it?

This is a basic shit comment. Not even a test as I do not think she’s checking on your fitness as a mate.

But if you want to maintain frame you can use this as practice and simply use the amused mastery techniques of agree and amplify or disagree and amplify or pressure flip or just shut the fuck up.

I like the Mario comment in the other reply assuming others wouldn’t know what that meant (bonus points if they laugh and she does not)

Simply put she is butthurt because you chose to help someone and not help her - and the fact you’re letting her get under your skin means you have a ways to go.

1- Focus on your mission 2- Maintain an outcome independent mindset and not give a fuck attitude 3- be comfortable in your own skin and be fully integrated 4- practice amused mastery as your default operating mode.

Because you need to get this easily handled -imagine if she was an HB8-9and you actually found her attractive.... that would make it even harder to deal with - so knock out the easy ones out of the park and keep practicing.

It's a shit test.

She's trying to spin your helpfulness into a positive trait by stroking your ego. A BP guy would play into it by becoming proud of it, and working harder to help her, and other people out, wearing it as a badge of honour, when in fact he's getting used. Basically, it's to instill the idea of wanting to do their work into your head, as though you're a superhero out to save the day.

The best method to deal with it is to simply say no when people are asking for favours, especially with girls at work, since they are prone to take advantage of people.

You have to take care of your own stuff first, and then, if there's time and you feel like it, help others. Also, when you do the favour, you should try to make it seem like it took a lot of effort on your part, even if it isn't, and never say yes right away, make them work for it.

This is to ensure people are grateful for what you've done. Otherwise, they'll push you to do it by claiming it'll only take a second, and won't think much of it.

At work, particularly in office environments, there's a dance you have to do. It's all part of the politics.
