I have a theory here about Zoloft (anti-depressant) being similar to an actual red pill and wondered if anyone else taking Zoloft has experienced something like this. This is my first post in TRP so sorry if i seem naive.

Background : In 2013 i was in a LTR coming up on 2 years and was just about to start university. 1-2 Weeks before move-in day I had found out from my gf's friend that she had cheated on me during the summer with someone whom she knew I hated. I had a feeling something went on between them but just decided to believe/trust her (mistake #1). Long story short, we broke up and didn't talk for a month or two and then became on/off for the next year (mistake #2). While in our unstable relationship, she changed a lot. She started doing drugs a lot more, slept around with guys and lied to me about it and at one point she was sexting another guy while in the same room as me (hence how I found out she had been sleeping around). All this shit had been taking a toll on me over the duration of my first year so I began to cope by drinking a lot and it just really fucked me up. I lost almost 20lbs first year and began developing depression + anxiety. When summer rolled around we decided it would be best to just stay friends. Towards the end of summer, I finally sought out help and was put on a low dosage of Zoloft before I went away to school again. Second year University while on Zoloft; I was still friends with my ex and visited her frequently, (mistake #3) we would still have sex and she said she cared for me but never visited me once. She would rather get high and party than make an effort to see me. So i stopped talking to her and haven't in 3+ months now.

Theory: The first 1-2 Months of being on Zoloft I felt as if i was untouchable. I was on top of the world and I didn't have a care in the world for anyone but myself, and my own needs/wants. I became more rational, confident, happy, but most importantly I began to realize that other people (such as my ex-gf mentioned in the background) only cared for themselves. I realized that females are totally fucked up and aren't loyal at all. So i stopped bending over for them for once in my life. That's when my ex-gf said that i was beginning to change and was no longer who I used to be. But I really think that Zoloft just made me realize the truth and I became alpha as fuck.

I continued to take the Zoloft for the next 2-3 months (total of about 6 months). I felt the "alpha effects" diminish around the 3rd month but I was still more happy than my previous state hence why I came off of them later on. I've been off of Zoloft for about 2 months now and honestly I feel like shit again. I've started to bend over again for other people who would never do the same for me and I'm just sinking into depression again. Social anxiety is to the max right now and its extremely intolerable. I Recently discovered TRP and it reminded me about my whole experience with Zoloft. I've been trying to swallow TRP but I'm beta af now and so I'm going to start taking Zoloft again. Hopefully this time when I come off of it ill remain in my "Alpha State".

TL;DR - Zoloft (SSRI) made me more confident, rational and realize the truth about certain people, especially in females. I stopped bending over for other people and did whatever made me happy. Do you think that my experience taking Zoloft is similar to actually swallowing TRP (figuratively)?

Edit: Im not saying that Zoloft is TRP, I'm saying it gave a similar effect for me. It helped me to understand my reality so that I can/could change it. It guided me to the right path but now I have to walk it alone. Keep in mind that Anti-depressants work differently on everyone.

Edit #2: To everyone saying that "drugs are for pussies" and Zoloft is "poison" [this is how I picture you] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbPeFs7uDLM) ... That being said this topic has a lot of mixed views. So its very stubborn and irrational to say that these drugs don't work for EVERYONE. Our bodies are unique and respond to each drug differently. There are people here who say the drug did nothing and then there are others who say its worked magic and helped to open their eyes. One user had to inbox me (i will post in the comments) with his/her positive experience with Zoloft because there are so many stubborn people here down voting valid points. MY personal experience helped me to open my eyes and view things better. It find it hard to tell someone else that it wont work for them when they've never tried the drug before and they've never been depressed. There's a difference between being upset and being depressed FIO. Like I said, our bodies are unique and respond differently. Zoloft is a therapeutic drug and takes time to work. It could have cured my depression and then maybe i just became depressed again 2 months later or maybe i was just never cured. Idk. But what i do know for sure is that it changed the way i saw things/people. It opened my eyes a bit.

Im prob going to end up deleting this post because there are just so many spam downvotes
