Don't worry about it so much. Misguided as they may be, a lot of women are nice people too. Avoid the red flags and you'll be fine.

Fake allegations are as equally rare as they are terrible. It's not a a worry at all for a lot of guys and if you're not fucking stupid about your behavior especially when it comes to both parties drinking, you will be fine.

Not sure where you reside, but in the U.S. you can Google all criminal statutes by jurisdiction. Make sure you look through both the federal and relevant state statutes.

It takes a while but saves on consulting with an attorney. Of course, the best bet is to consult with an attorney. It always help to have an established relationship with a professional. (you need to have a "guy" for everything).

This fear is overblown, but it does happen.
