I've seen a fair amount of posts on here where the OP is questioning whether or not she should break up with her current partner, but no general guide on what to look for if you're considering breaking up. The fact that RPW philosophy heavily maintains that every LTR requires work, that BP often encourages women to have unrealistic expectations, and that we should be wary of "branch-swinging" makes this topic especially difficult, I think. We have lots of posts about vetting potential partners; where are the ones about vetting current ones? What qualities are warning signs that you might need to GTFO? What qualities should you pay attention to as signals to fight hard for the relationship (like "This is rare! Don't let go unless you have to!)? What kinds of struggles are expected/normal/conquerable and which are big red flags? I would love to see a post on this!
