Went on a date with a girl I matched with on tinder. She had seen me in real life, we're on the same campus. I'm 19 and she's a few years older. She was a 7 in her profile but surprisingly an 8 in real life. This was only my second date ever (first one being the day before). I'm on a good roll right now haha. My plan is to do 1 date a week at least. Anyways back to the date.

We meet at this student restaurant/bar. She told me over text that the food was food there.

It was only 8 bucks for each of us. She takes her card out to pay, but I take mine out too and she puts hers back in her purse. It was about 15 bucks.

We talk and laugh for like an hour. It's going well. She seems into me. I obviously think she's hot but I stay laid back and keep a masculine frame.

Then she asks me if I want to go to the bar to get drinks. She takes her card out again to pay, but I tell her no it's okay I got this. She asks "really?" I say yea. Bill was 10 bucks. So basically 25 bucks in total I paid for.

We talk for another half hour. She then walks me to my bus stop. I wanted to invite her to my place, and I think she would have said yes, but I had a test the next day to study for and I also didn't have any condoms or anything on me. It had also been a while since I last trimmed up down there. So I just hugged her, told her I would have liked to hang out more but that I need to go to study for a test. She said okay and we had a nice hug.

How did I do boys? I think I messed up for paying for the drinks right? What else? What should be my next step. We talked about movies and she told me some of her favourite movies. Maybe I can invite her to my place to watch something and then escalate? Looking for some genuine feedback. This was a huge step for me, already feeling more confident than ever.
