First off, I had a reasonably well paying job at the main employer in town, the nautical engineering plant, which was pretty rare in what amounted to a mill town. I was single. The problem was that thanks to my ex girlfriend and my mom trying to start a war with each other, I had a reputation. The ex girlfriend had not left until recently, since her husband couldn’t get into a medical school in the states. During that time she waged a feud with my mom, who was pissed at the ex girlfriend for leaving it to her to drop the bomb on me. I got caught in the crossfire. So basically I would get a date, one of her friends would tell her ‘about me’ and she would flake on the date. This happened several times.

Lesson one: The hive mind rules small town girls.

I’m not sure whether this went away in it’s own, or if it had something to do with me dating an attractive girl who moved in from out of town. She moved from Michigan to our town along with her family. Held an LTR with her, but eventually she moved to Arizona. After that, getting girls went a lot more smoothly. Most likely it was pre-selection, but probably was also some of the ex girlfirends friends fading out of local social life. Either way I now had to contend with the plethora of local gold diggers.

Lesson Two: The hot girls in high school fade fast, both in looks and social status. One is tied to the other.

Unfortunately the poverty of the town bred a special class of gold digger. I called them ‘churchy’ girls. They weren’t especially religious. Some probably hadn’t even though about philosophies of God and creation. But they were super entwined in local church affairs as part of their own identity. Actually back in my high school days, there was a triumvirate of three of these girls. They were the hottest pieces of ass in town for a while, and were definitely ‘churchy.’ To be concise, they were also some of the sluttiest girls I’ve ever met. In the days before cell phones, or even digital cameras, people were circulating polaroids of one of these girls. The ex gilfriend desperately wanted into their social clique, which should have been a red flag. Once I got a little more social acceptability under my belt, and it was obvious I was making above average cash in an impoverished town, I had to fend off these girls. They were extremely transparent. The lack of game was due to being hot and never having met anyone who wasn’t cowed by their good looks. Often they would mention what good friends we were in school when these girls barely even spoke to me. Of course, I wasn’t taking the bait and they eventually got the drift and faded out.

Lesson Three: Even apex predators have to be mindful of parasites.

So I was in a job where the guy I saw at work would be a neighbor or the guy sitting next to me at church. You get the idea. The issue is that, while these guys might be good people, they weren’t really smart people. Hence why they were making minimum wage in this small town hellhole. One guy at the plant proudly announced that his girl had been a virgin before meeting him. His buddy immediately asked him how he thought that was possible, since she had a kid from her previous boyfriend. The look on the guys face suggested he really hadn’t thought of that before. The women in town would act like corporate raiders to these guys. They would marry them, drain the accounts, and move on to the next guy. One woman was well known locally to have been married seventeen times by the time she was in her late forties. Granted, she married the same guy something like seven times, and fleeced him each time.

Lesson Four: Small town girls are especially predatory.

I knew one guy that drove the big rigs for the plant. He had a daughter. Let’s call her daddy issues. Another churchy girl, maybe less dirty than the other three mentioned above. Dad was apparently pretty strict, and she liked to show off how much of a strong independent womyn she was for his benefit. So this was the south, small town, and racism was alive and well. She started dating a black guy. She snuck him into her room after prom. Dad walked in on him waste deep in her. He broke the guys arm and tossed the boyfriend out of the house without his clothes on. A black guy running naked through the white part of town got the local cops off their asses, and of course she immediately claimed rape. He also had weed in his pocket, and I wasn’t one hundred percent sure that daddy didn’t put it there after the kid ran off without his pants.

Bonus stories, for your amusement:

One of the local girls was pretty hot, but always wore dresses. Never pants. It’s the south, conservative, bible belt, etc. so no big deal. One of the guys at the plant finally got into her pants, and let us all know that she had a massive thigh gap, because she also had a massive vagina. He stated something along the lines of not loose, just mutant enormous.

A girl I went to school with got hired as a secretary at the plant. A couple of times people walked in on her having an apparent seizure, or having apparent issues controlling her urination. It turns out she was on depression meds that caused her to have an orgasm when she yawned.
