I know this doesn't really fit with this forum, but I don't know where else to post it. I tried posting it in r/thebluepill but I did not get any responses.

I am a 22 year old female, and when I read about the experiences of guys from TRP, MGTOW, incels etc, and while I feel repelled, I also feel something resonate within me.

I am unable to connect with people, to make friends. I had never dated anyone, and am a virgin. I spend all day locked inside my room. I don't know how to approach guys, and guys never approach me. I am not the most physically attractive person (though I don't think I am hideous). I actually ended up dropping out of college because being lonely made me so depressed it affected my studies.

Now, most TRPers would scoff at this and say that cannot happen to women since it is easier for us to get laid. However, I come from a relatively conservative country, which doesn't have much of a hookup culture. I can try a dating site, but I am intimidated by the idea of hooking up with a total stranger. I am worried about my safety-I don't have any girl friends I can talk about it with, and being from a conservative culture, I cannot mention it to my family. Besides, I don't think meaningless sex would cure loneliness-I had made out with a guy I had met online two years ago (my first and only time), though we had nothing in common, and I did not enjoy it at all. I don't want meaningless sex. I want to date someone, or at least be friends with someone first.

I've come across stuff from TRP, MGTOW etc and while I don't agree with it at all (mostly because I know for a fact that AWALT is wrong because their ideas about women don't apply to me at all), however, I can understand their appeal to men. As much as I hate saying this, I feel that if I were a man, I might have gone down that path. I hate it, but that has been eating up my mind. Their ideas keep seeping into my mind, and I get random thoughts about them, which disturv me. For instance, I know an attractive, popular girl who is friends with a less popular guy (who is attractive IMO, but not in a conventional way) and the term 'beta orbiter' crosses my mind. I've seen TRP ideologies infiltrate more mainstream parts of the internet, and it makes me worried about how many guys are under their thrall, it makes me scared of interacting with guys, and of getting a boyfriend, for I don't think I'd ever be able to get a boyfriend who is a normal, well-adjusted guy (why would they date me when they can date a normal, well-adjusted girl? I don't have attractiveness on my side either). I would get only a guy who is like me, and I know that kind of a guy is more likely to fall prey to such ideologies.
