Just to establish where I'm coming from: I was born into probably one of the most beta families possible. Over bearing alpha mother with the most beta father of all time. I grew up overweight in an obese household and developed a need for people to like me. It wasn't until my later 20's that I started to change my life due to multiple self improvements including redpill

After losing weight and lifting, investing in fashion, disregarding the need to feel liked, and drawing clear boundaries with others, my SMV has improved dramatically over the last couple years. The one thing that stands out the most to me is how much easier it is to go through life with a high SMV. It may as well be all that matters to people. I started thinking about confidence, and why I didn't have it before. What is it about improvement that increases confidence?

The only answer I could find was this: Superiority

Knowing that you are a highly valued male. Knowing that you have the traits that others lack. Knowing that you have worked hard to improve yourself where others have failed. Not only have you become the best "you" compared to before, but you have become the most attractive person in the room 90% of the time.

This frame of mind is what has finally lead me to the ultimate form of security. When I find others who are equal or better than me, I can easily respect them rather than being threatened. I know they have also worked hard to get here. When others lob criticism at me, it becomes more like a baseball being thrown into the sun. I know what I need to work on, and others opinions do not weigh as much as my own. It becomes easy to say no to anyone. Why? my time is much more important than theirs. They must work in my schedule. If I get rejected now, it feels great to cut the string and move on knowing that it is unlikely she will find a man like me. I am never ashamed of any of my actions or decisions anymore. I'm not afraid of offending or hurting anyone's feelings. People who are less secure do not matter to me. I never feel stressed out about if I may have done the wrong thing. Shit tests are a breeze. It is natural to pass them when you trust the armor you have built. Is King Kong threatened by a kitten?

This feeling has only come from becoming superior in my own mind. As someone who lived years being a beta and a people pleaser, I can now clearly see the differences. Knowing that you are better than others, that you have taken the journey of improvement to be better than them, and having a high standard for your own life are the keys to confidence and being secure. I wouldn't go back for anything because my life has only gone up after surpassing the threshold of SMV.

Improve. Do anything to raise your SMV. It is the currency of life.
