I'm getting remarried (#2) in a couple months to a 'fierce woman' who makes me feel more 'beta' than I typically like to think of myself as (if you met me, that'd be the last thing you'd imagine; although, with women, I guess I do tend to be a little too "Mr. Nice Guy"), so I'm trying to step my game up, and be a man that she can respect and follow/allow to lead.

I've always avoided TRP because it came across to me as too PUA/manipulative/derogatory towards women. I'd listened to a few podcasts/interviews with Rollo, then skipped/deleted any subsequent episodes that involved him going forward (got kind of a disingenuous 'try hard' vibe from him that was off-putting). I'm in my 40s and have no interest in picking up women or being a 'player' (even in my younger days that wasn't me). I'm interested in living an example of Biblical Manhood, not only for my bride, but for my daughter, her daughter, men that look up to me, boys I may coach, etc.

In searching my above dilemma, I kept incurring threads from TRP, so I started searching how TRP principles aligned with Christian values and came upon this /r/. I thought I'd ask you, then: Am I judging that book by its cover? Is there value for a Christian in being 'red pill', or consuming that content, Or is it as superficial as it seems and best left to those of lesser morals. *Don't get me wrong, I'm no self-righteous prude that believes himself to be better than others, but I *want* to be better... (than my current self, not others)
