Ghost, don't reply or message and plate other women. This is something I've noticed after the holidays or a week or two vacation. You just never know what values or priorities can change in someone in a short period of time, especially women. She could be sending a message in two weeks after she's back to hang out for sex. Maybe you showed too much quick investment so her own mind starting to over analyze whether to invest time in you back as a bf, but, you guys hadn't hung out much anyway so she basically wants to start the semester with a clean slate and school blah blah. The whole situation itself with her being too nervous and all that just means lots of things went off the rails. Who knows really? Just do your thing.
