Who knew that single motherhood was so tough that all feminist liberation talk flies right out the window and the strong independent woman craves patriarchal oppression? This must somehow be men's fault.

Once again we find a woman who ignored the female half of the social compact for a couple of decades while she was chasing "hawt guys" and having their babies, but now that the brutal logic of the SMP has resulted in her ejection from the carousel she suddenly wants a man who spent those same decades busting his balls to become a good provider. She implies that she's now willing to acquiesce to letting him be "the man of the house," but the only trait she specifies is his provider role... she says nothing about his authority as the head of the house. Nononono, you see, she's not interested in that part of the arrangement: that would be a little too much "patriarchy" for her. She's searching for a man who will embrace the Protector and Provider portions of the deal while not asking for the Sex-on-demand and Final Decision Maker portions. She'll continue to rule the roost and you will be expected to bankroll it. What a deal.
