Just the opposite in fact! There's a slight bias to males at birth. Men tend to die younger even in modern times so somewhere in their 30's a population demographic will reverse to mostly female.

You need to understand biology is a highly non sentimental thing. Males are more immediatley viable on a macro level due to physical power and thus are produced more. Women are more immediatley valuable since making a new human that can act on it's own takes multiple years after conception. This has only created societal differences in modern times because automation steadily kills the need for physical power while reducing the time a woman spends rearing children is still a pipe dream beyond shaving off fractions.

This is the same as say, plants and animals that die shortly after reproduction, or are wounded in the birthing process, or a million other organisms out there. Yeah it sucks to be the one in the situation but nature doesn't care so long as you nut and make a replacement.

More men are born than women everywhere on the planet, the ratio is always 5% more men born than women.

But men die a lot more. 50/50 is achieved when the generation is 25 or 30 year old, and from this point there's more women than men.

Why are there an equal number of men despite women are the bottleneck of the population? Because this way men can

1) be expandable for the benefit of others

2) be selected by women, so that the genetic pool is wide and more possibilities are explored.

3) men taking care of babies and nurturing can be important in some rough era of humanity.

4) shitty unselectable men can still work for the whole group, as we see nowadays with our incels paying taxes.

The sperm has more or less equal amount of x and y chromosomes. So, it doesnot matter how many men are fertilizing women, the biology will take its course.
