There's various reasons to refuse to assist a female in distress; e.g., one time out walking a little girl was in a tree, and asked me to help her climb down. There was also 2 or 3 other girls stood around the tree looking at me a bit sneakily.

Something didn't feel right, I felt like I was being setup e.g., I put my hands around her waist to hold her to bring her down, and she suddenly screams and it looks like i'm molesting or something.

Therefore, I simply smiled and said I was in a hurry and walked on... think I saved myself some jail time there.
