So let's get one thing out in the open. TRP has two camps. Its users fall into two categories.

• The people who are only here to learn/teach game and figure out how to get higher quantities or higher quality of girls more efficiently.

• The people who are here to learn/teach how to be a man first and foremost, "chase money/your mission and women will follow", etc.

I want to ask this question to both camps. Is it worth the massive time investment to learn your local language if you'll live in that place for a year or two, maybe more? In my case, I'm not talking about French or Mandarin by the way, I'm talking about a local language with less than 20 million speakers which 9/10 Americans have probably never heard of. In my case, this would be my fourth language.

Camp 1: is it worth the time investment to get local girls? Decrease the language barrier, show a sign of respect, signal intelligence, have an easier time cold approaching, etc.

Camp 2: is it worth the time investment to become a higher quality man? Look good on a resume, have an interesting conversation topic, signal intelligence, etc.

Now that I think about it, if I actually do this I could even pretend that learning languages is my passion lol. To be honest, even though I'm a long-time TRP user, I don't have a passion, that's always been one of the things I don't see eye to eye with this sub. But if I know 4 languages I could fake it. Just say some cheesy shit about learning languages with a spark in my eye and have girls swoon over how "passionate" I am.

Or better yet, maybe while I'm spending the time studying a language it will actually grow into a veritable passion and I'll want to learn French or Mandarin or something actually useful next. And I won't have to fake anything because I'll have cultivated a true passion. Who knows?
