Backstory is that this is a girl I work with (don’t bother saying it) and I spent a fun night with her at work, but I negged her a fair bit before she left by calling her a loser a few times, which I felt guilty about.

Me: “I think I overstepped the mark and was a bit mean yesterday. That wasn’t cool :l Hope you have a fun trip away 🤟”

Her: “What do you mean ??

Mean to me ?? “

Me: “I thought I trash talked you a bit hard before you left. Never mind, shows that you weren’t effected. Not a delicate flower :)”

Her: “(My name) not at all. I always enjoy our chats . The only mean thing you said is that you hate gays and don’t care for the environment 😆”

Me: “Haha I aim to tease, not demean and I thought I toed that line a bit fine at one point is all. You da bomb”

I realise “you da bomb” is cringe.
