Until the age of 24 I was a complete failure: Obese, zero social skills, living in total isolation, perpetually depressed, kissless virgin, etc. You get the idea.

I started working on myself when I moved to a college town for my masters. From the very beginning, I was improving myself with the picture of me banging those hot blonds on the campus. I kept telling myself that one day I will be good enough for them.

I am in a much better place after those two years. I became fit, am slowly learning to be sociable, do not suffer from depression anymore, my social anxiety is much less, I am progressing at my career, I have many friends, many girls showing interest in entering relationships with me, etc.

But not the hot party girls. The pinnacle of female sexuality in my mind. I just do not have the personality or the looks they are after. Even the one or two girls I had a chance with annoyed the hell out of me. To me, they are just looks and a testament that I am "good"; I do not really want to date any of them, just prove to myself that I am good. I received enough ridicule and eye rolls from young girls to crush my soul.

Then I read about Elliot Rodger and how he came from a place similar to mine and it scared me shitless. I realized that my thought patterns are not healthy, at all.

I am not a complete failure with girls. I am always receiving interest from decent looking (7-8) brunette hipster chicks. But I am really pissed that my fantasy of being a bad boy who bangs party chicks is not going to happen.

What do you think?
